BIG NEWS!

Alexandra Rundquist

For the past 5 years (and 4 apartments) my studio has been based out of our spare bedroom, and it wasn't until recently that my husband Nayt and I saw this changing.

We are so excited that we are almost completely moved into our new out-of-home studio. We have put a lot of love and time into our new space already, and can tell this is going to be an adventure!

Here's a BEFORE photo of our studio:

We ripped off the wallpaper first, painted the walls a cream color and edged with a quick coat of grey. Next came the floor. We were pleasantly surprised to discover carpet tiles instead of regular carpet, which made removal SO much easier.

We knew that we wanted floors that were easy to sweep, but didn't want it to cost us an arm and a leg. We decided on plywood. The total flooring cost for our studio was less than $60, which is a win in my book!

After we finished the floors, I asked my sister to help paint a mural with my logo on the wall and she did a BEAUTIFUL job!

And then, it was finally time for us to move in!

I'm excited to share all the creations and designs that come out of the new studio space! Stay tuned over the coming months to see what comes out!

Summer Line 2016 Inspiration

Alexandra Rundquist

It has been such a blast to hand select gems for our summer Line. We have drawn upon the vivd colors of the ocean and the creatures that inhabit it to chose the gems we think best resemble it.

Our Lost At Sea Line was created by imagining what our jewelry would look like if they were somehow lost at sea and resurfaced several years later. Dark patina and striking, contrasting stones has allowed us to breathe life into this vision.

Valentine's Week 2016

Alexandra Rundquist

Valentine's Day is not only about celebrating who we love, but also about celebrating what we love. One of my goals for this year is to focus more on who and what I love and to celebrate the happy little things in life. Here is a short list of some of the things that have brought me the warm fuzzies of happiness so far this year:

Spring Line Gem Preview

Living in the Midwest where Winter brings blankets of snow and freezing temps, Spring is such a welcomed, refreshing season. It's January and I am already looking forward to green grass, growth and warmer temps. All of these images have inspired the color palette of AEROW's Spring Line.
